The office of Career & Technical Education (CTE) at Las Positas College (LPC) provides project management to expand, enhance and develop CTE programs offered by the College. LPC's many career and technical programs prepare students to seek entry-level employment while providing technical skills upgrading for those currently employed. The curricula are developed in coordination with advisory committees that consist of faculty, administrators, and industry experts to ensure the latest standards and technology are integrated into the programs.
The office of CTE is responsible for articulation between LPC's CTE programs and regional High Schools, ROP’s, and Adult Schools. The office also administers federal and state programs for job training and manages special grants related to economic and workforce development.
